In the project we worked on preparing students to enter the job market. The students come from restructured areas, so the first stage of the project was to make them understand how their cities evolved economically to be like they are now. Students made research and the effect is the video about industrial restructuring of the cities. The second stage was to understand the current socio-econimic situation of the cities and regions. The students prepared maps that show these aspects of their environment. Another key factor to being a competent participant of the job market is having a variety of employment-related and entrepreneurial skills. In our project we developed two educational tools that facilitate acquring these skills and can be used in secondary schools and other institutions working with youth. One of them is the "Book of Good Practices", which is a set of practical activities to be used to improve soft skills. The other is a computer game "My First Business" that helps improve entrepreneurial skills.
